About the Author
Dr. Andrew L. Rubell is an educator, author, leadership scholar, and advocate committed to helping children and families build the skills necessary for lifelong success. Drawing upon his experience in special education, counseling, workforce development, educational leadership, and organizational psychology, Dr. Rubell creates practical resources that connect learning with the challenges and opportunities children encounter in everyday life.
He created the Ben, Benjamin, Benji™ Series to give children an encouraging and relatable character through whom they can explore confidence, communication, emotions, self-advocacy, social skills, independence, problem-solving, and positive decision-making.
Through stories, coloring adventures, activities, and educator and parent resources, Dr. Rubell believes children should receive more than encouragement—they should be given practical opportunities to develop the skills that help them become increasingly confident and independent.
